Amplifier

Music workshops for young people across Suffolk

Aims and objectives

To develop opportunties for young people to take part in music workshops. To develop a network of well resourced learning venues in Suffolk. To amplifiy the music scene in Suffolk

Project summary

Amplifier delivers regular workshops for young people in seven main venues across Suffolk. The workshops cover styles like rock, pop, club and folk music. Amplifier workshops offer everyone the chance to take part in making music and we even provide the instruments. The tutors are all experienced musicians who aim to ensure that participants get a head start in playing their own style of music. The workshops are aimed at young people aged 11 to 25.

Visit the Amplifier website for details of the workshops in your area and how to get involved.

Start date: Thursday 1 April 2004
